Pottery-painting is a fun, relaxing method to cover curriculum topics for students of all ages. A good example being, painting butterflies on plates with infants to improve their understanding of symmetry.

Many schools use painted tiles to make a display to commemorate a special event.

The Playful Potter is mobile pottery painting at its best.  We visit Nurseries, Infant, Junior, Secondary schools and Youth Groups in the Northwest, bringing everything needed to make beautifully painted ceramic artwork. 

We demonstrate a diverse range of techniques, relevant to the age group we are working with. 

We are available throughout the term. 

We run after school clubs with several schools in the Macclesfield area and are able to provide references.

We have public liability insurance are CRB checked, hold a first aid certificate and can provide the relevant risk assessment sheets prior to the session.

The cost of trips by are as follows :-

small tiles £3 each

large tiles £4 each

mugs/plates/bowls £8 each
